Diamonds are forever, imagined as an object of desire that circulates as condensed wealth. Forever abstracted, symbolised, push outside of time.
Diamonds are solid. Their solidity can easily carve through a lens or blind our eyes, severing our fetishistic attachment to the glitter of commodities, carving winding lines into our retina. But these lines can also draw speculative routes, crosscutting the boundaries that separate body and image, screen and lens, stone and fluid.
